Drum pumps

DOPAG drum pumps have been designed to unload medium to high viscosity, single component materials from their original shipping containers. DOPAG drum pumps are double acting, positive displacement chop/check pumps driven by reciprocating air motors.

The drum pumps are mounted onto follower plates and are forced downwards into the material by pneumatically driven twin post rams in order to assist with the priming of the high viscosity materials. The follower plate reduces waste material by wiping the inner sides of the drum clean and at the same time eliminating any possibility of contamination of the material. Hydraulically driven pumps and rams are available for use with extremely viscous materials

A complete range of drum pumps is available to fit any standard sized shipping container from 310 ml cartridges to 200 litre size drums.

Used extensively for feeding single component metering systems as well as for feeding the separate components of a plural component system to DOPAG metering and mixing systems, DOPAG drum pumps are to be found in almost every industry that has a need to transfer medium to high viscosity liquids from their original containers.
