Epoxy dispensing

Almost the entire range of DOPAG systems, including ECONO-MIX, MICRO-MIX, VARIO-MIX and SILCO-MIX piston pump systems along with ELDO-MIX gear pump type systems are suitable for epoxy dispensing. Factors appertaining to the epoxy resin, such as the viscosity and the mixing ratio determine the choice of system, as well as the application that the system will be used for.

Typical applications that involve epoxy dispensing include the electrical and electronic industries, where the process of encapsulation protects components such as integrated circuits, sensors and transponders from moisture, corrosion or vibration by encapsulating them with a two component epoxy resin.

Epoxy dispensing is also used widely in the construction of glass reinforced plastic mouldings, typically in such industries as aerospace and wind energy, whilst epoxy dispensing is often used as a replacement for single component adhesives in wood furniture production.
